Like many people, Jen Menchaca didn't really know what she was going to be when she grew up.  On the contrary, she planned on following her fathers footsteps to become, of all things, a NASA engineer!  Oh how things changed...

After earning a degree in advertising, the bright lights of New York City called her name.  Like many (most?) transplants to the iconic city, Jen worked as a server and bartender to make ends meet while she pursued a more creative way to earn a living.    Eventually, another opportunity arose and she moved to Los Angeles, where she landed her first job with David E. Kelly as a stylist on the hit T.V. series Ally McBeal.

Like most creative types, she was always searching for her niche, and being a fashion lover, she experimented.  Mostly with inexpensive fashion pieces like classic tee shirts.  In fact, dear old Dad's tees took the fall in the name of fashion!

Well, as they say, long story short;  NATION LTD. was born.  Like all of us, Jen loves the perfect fitting soft tee, and views it as a basic necessity in her everyday wardrobe.  We at Lotus are proud to be a purveyor of NATION LTD., and invite you to come experience the line for yourself.
