Don't let a little rain dampen your spirit!

Well, here in sunny Sarasota it has been raining for 10 days now. I know, those of you from Buffalo and Chicago have no sympathy for us, but we really are spoiled after all!
So just in case this weather continues over the weekend, I have some ideas on how to enjoy it. First step in the plan is to stock the frig and pantry with lots of your favorite comfort foods. Nothing worse than a craving for baked brie and crisp green apples when all you can dig up are soggy carrot sticks. With the knowledge that your creature comforts will be met, move on to making sure you dress the part with comfortable (but cute) clothes. If you stop by Lotus you can pick up a few of our newest t-shirts from Rag Doll, the spin-off line from Project E. Always known for great cotton, these tees are made of the softest pima cotton and come in fantastic colors. Choose the v-neck or the scoop, or try a loose “boyfriend” tank top layered over a bright bandeau. Jessica snagged the hot pink v-neck, and check out all the other great colors!

We have french terry pants and shorts from Pete and Greta that would be perfect with these. Of course if you are a “jeans kind of girl” you might want to go for a boyfriend jean. The “Steve” from J Brand just arrived, in super soft, summer weight denim.

So stay dry, watch an old movie, have friends in to play a game (Mah Jong is my latest obsession!), or just kick back and listen to some “Rainy Day” music. Here are a few fun music videos for you:
